Accomplishments – pressed frets in, filed frets flush with neck on the sides, leveled frets
Tools used – drill press, file, sanding beam, purple sharpie

Accomplishments – Cut out fret slots to the proper depth, cut fret wire
Tools used – Hand saw, cutters, that wire-bender, mallet
Learned – This is all decently easy, but pounding the fret wire into place with the mallet just straight up doesn’t work

Accomplishments – inserted side fret dots, sanded neck, polished fretboard, learned about the fret spacing
Tools – sanding paper from 160 to 2000 grit, drill, google sheets
Learned – about the whole rule of 18, which is basically just the scale length divided by 17.817, then subtracting that from the scale length and then repeating this process with the new numbers in the place of the scale lenght for the placement of each fret

Accomplishments – connected electronics holes, sanded body, marked fret holes, drilled them out, inserted and cut plastic fret dots, sanded, inserted truss rod, and finally attached fretboard to neck
Tools – drill, spindle sander, drill press, handsaw, hole press thing, wood glue, rubber band
Learned – to be a but more carful as I chipped the body while drilling electronics holes

Accomplishments – sanded headstock & fretboard into shape
Tools used – spindle sander, sandpaper, 120⁰ radius sanding block thing, files
Learned – that there’s a specific radius fretboards have to be sanded to and that doing so takes forever

Accomplishments – acquired all necessary pieces, designed head stock shape, and finally cut out the headstock
Tools used – bandsaw
Learned – nothing new really, except for how much pressure the strings put on the neck (~100 lbs)
